Carol started out riding the hunter circuit and equitation shows in suburban New York with a large show barn when she was a teenager. While riding and showing in NY, she also started teaching to younger students under the guidance of her instructor. Then as a young adult, she expanded her riding to involve hunter paces, dressage and Eventing. She moved to Shirley, Maine in 1994, where she got married and started a family. After her children got a bit older, she decided to start her own business with horses. This is where Little Brook Farm began.

She is very knowledgeable about equine nutrition and it's effect on disease,and prevention of disease. Carol's main area of interest is in Eventing, or also called Combined Training; which is dressage, stadium jumping and cross-country jumping. She is an active member of MeCTA, which is the Maine Combined Training Association, and has achieved two awards for winning her division two years in a row in 2003 and 2004 in the State of Maine. In 2008, she was 6th overall in the state. |
