I want to say thank you to all my students, the parents and
    my family for supporting me and making this a success.  I
    couldn't have done it without you all!  It makes everything
    much more enjoyable when you have a GREAT group of
    people to work with!!

    SOME BARN NEWS:
    Have a happy 4th of July, and look
    for us in the parade on Friday!!

    July 1st!!!
                         
    We will be having our annual
    "Open Barn" on July 5th from 10-4.
    This year, we are doing a fund
    raiser at the same time for one of the
    local equine rescue groups in Maine.....
    Last Chance Ranch.  They rescue
    abused/neglected horses and help at
    risk children also.  There will be
    FREE horseback rides and refresh-
    ments!!!  Donations of any amount are
    welcomed by them.  Look for the advertisement in the
    Moosehead Matters newspaper!!

    The Saddle Club went on a field trip this month to an Event
    in Carmel!!...It was a blast!!  The girls learned about
    Eventing and what it takes to show a horse.  Afterwards, we
    went out for dinner and ice-cream!!  We all had a lot of fun.

    Welcome Jan, Rod, Chris and their horse, "Izzy"!!!  She's a
    very nice horse and is settling in great.  Ashley has ridden
    her a few times and LOVES her!!!  She has already given a
    couple of lessons, and did very well!!!  Thank you Jan and
    family!!!

    Welcome Kerry, Jordan and MacKenzie!!!  Hope you have a
    great time on your vacation!!

    The first show that we plan to participate in for interested
    riders is Sun., July 20th in Carmel.  This is a very fun
    equitation show.  They have classes from lead line,
    and halter, to flat classes and jumping for different levels
    and ages.  Something for everyone!!
    There are a few other shows planned for the Summer too.  
    We'll keep everyone posted as we get closer to the dates.
