Little Brook Farm
Horse Lease Program
Lexi
Devyn
Leasing a horse gives you an idea of what horse ownership is about without the full
responsibility or cost.
It's an ideal situation for someone who wants to ride more often, and develop a relationship
and a bond with a horse,  but may not have the time or financial means to buy and care for a
horse of their own.
Leasing a horse before you buy one for a child is also a good idea.....If they lose interest, the
lease is simply terminated, and your responsibility for that horse is over.

Horses available in the Fall for on-property lease only:

"
Devyn":
He is our very sweet, kind & gentle Appendix QH.  He is a "black beauty" that stands 16.1
hands tall, and is in his mid-twenties.  He's a "been there, done that" horse, and is extremely
well-trained with impeccable manners on the ground and under saddle.  He is used in our
lesson program for all skill levels and ages.
"Devyn" has competed successfully in show jumping on the East coast from Canada to
Florida, and eventing in the State of Maine.
He is sound, and can do lower levels in Dressage, Equitation Shows, and trail riding.
Limited jumping.

"
Lexi":
She is our sweet, full of personality American Warmblood.  She is also a "black beauty" that
stands 16.1 hands tall, and is six years old.  She is also used in our lesson program mostly for
intermediate riders, but has done a couple of beginner lessons very well too.
"Lexi" does eventing, dressage, cross-country jumping, show jumping and trail rides.  She is
also learning how to do Western.
She has been in the top three at all of her shows with my 14 year old daughter.
No beginners please.....We would like at least an intermediate rider so that no bad habits
develop.
