Little Brook Farm
Our Lesson Program & Pony Rides
Little Brook Farm offers horseback riding lessons for all
ages....From beginners to advanced riders!!  English or
Western riding is taught; from just the basics to dressage
and jumping.

We can help you achieve your individual riding goals;
whether it's just learning how to ride safely and confidently,
to being able to successfully show your horse.

For our youngest riders, we also offer pony rides!!  Our pony
rides are scheduled for a half hour, and the children have
the opportunity to be part of the grooming and tacking up
process if they would like.  A leader and a spotter is also
with the child while riding, to ensure safety.

Our main priority is to provide a confidence building, safe,
and FUN learning experience so that you may be
successful in reaching your riding goals.  Our horses are
friendly and safe, which helps the student build their
confidence and focus on learning and having fun.

Good horsemanship skills, and a solid foundation for the
basics of riding is essential to communicating with your
horse, and becoming a successful rider at any level, and
is
an important part of what we teach to our students.

Our riding lessons are
custom-designed and flexible to
meet each students different needs, ages and abilities.
Each lesson includes all aspects of the grooming
& tacking up process, horsemanship, safety & riding.
We believe in teaching about the
whole horse, and not just
about the riding.

We meet for lessons rain or shine!!...On those rainy days,
we have unmounted lessons that can be done in the barn,
so you never have to miss your time to spend with the
horses each week!!
Students also have the option of spending more time
with the horses, and learning about their basic care.

Our main area of interest is in Eventing, or also called
Combined Training; which involves dressage, show
jumping, & cross-country jumping.  Being able to ride
in multiple disciplines, as Eventing demands, creates
a more well-rounded rider.

We will also travel, within a reasonable distance, to
your place to give lessons.
Students are also welcome to bring their own horses
for lessons or camps.

Lessons are given throughout our Winter season too!!
We often do unmounted lessons through the cold months...with
heat in the tack room, and hot chocolate to warm us up!!!
